Dan Goldwasser of said that "Amano's music contains strong and bold themes, with a powerful energy that conveys heavy dramatic and upbeat action."

The recording took place at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, Los Angeles county, in early November, 2007. In 2007, [Sega Japan hired Masamichi Amano to compose and orchestrate the game's 65-piece music score.
